See extensively on Adriaan or Aart van Wijck (1641-1716): NNBW, vol. 7, p. 1341-1354 (giving 16 Dec. 1619 as date of death) and Van der Aa, Biografisch woordenboek der Nederlanden, vol. 20, p. 262-3. Van Wijck is especially known for his vehement writings against Jansenism and the Dutch Old Catholic church, often even prohibited by Rome. Very rare edition (as any 4to edition of this text and w. these ills. by Plantin of around 1600), hardly ever offered for sale.
