[Diving] Schönberger-de Hooge, Gré (1921-2014)
Collection of 77 medals and 13 pins awarded to Gré Schönberger-de Hooge for diving achievements in the 1930s and 40s, including eight first price medals.
Schönberger (maiden name de Hooge) was a competitive swimmer/diver from Rotterdam. She participated in numerous national championships, winning silver and bronze in 1938, 39, 40 and 41 and gold in 1937. Throughout her diving career she was a member of the Rotterdamse dames zwemclub, the SVH (Sportvereniging Hillegersberg), VZC (Vlaardingse ZwemClub, LZC (Leidse ZwemClub and RZC (Rotterdamse ZwemClub). She has been nominated into the Hall of fame of the Dutch Swimming federation (KNZB). (total 90)
