Hardly ever offered for sale (especially in complete condition). Based on the Cosmographia et geographia de Affrica (1526), by al-Hassan ibn-Mohammed al-Wezzaz al-Fasi (ca. 1494-1552), known as Joannes Leo Africanus. His 'Description of Africa' was regarded among his scholarly peers in Europe as the most authoritative account of the Maghreb and Nile Valley until the modern exploration of Africa.
