Var. sizes, carved and painted wooden heads and hands (some w. cloth hands), dressed in col. cloth robes, probably produced by Ostheimer Holzspielwaren for the Waldorfschule (based on Rudolf Steiner's educational philosophy). In very fine condition. Collection Otto van der Mieden, ex collection Henri Zagwijn (1878-1954), follower of Rudolf Steiner, senior master at the Rotterdam Academy of Music and composer (w. added documentation).

A very fine and rare large collection, each individual puppet a work of art in itself. Depicting an angel, knight w. sword, unidentified figure, Kasperl, judge, princess, witch, schoolteacher, prince, king, devil, Mephisto, farmer and Death.
