[Marionettes] Four large marionettes: (1-2) Pierke van Alijn and a lady friend

Two marionettes, Gent, 20th cent. Both w. height of approx. 50 cm, painted papier mache heads (the lady w. inlaid eyes), carved wooden hands and shoes/ boots, both very nicely dressed. Pierke (better known as Pierrot) w. button attached to the top of the metal rod: "Poppentoneel Festival 1953". (3) Man in Eastern European traditional dress. Large marionette, height 80 cm, w. carved and painted wooden head with felt hat, long cloth robe. Lacking the strings to move the arms. -and another Pierke marionette similar (but not identical) to the other one in the lot. Added: smaller marionette w. long operating rod.
