Ca. 1830-2000, handwritten and typescript letters, postcards, printed (advertorial) ephemera, announcements, photographs, invoices, wishes, newspaper clippings, etc., kept loosely inserted in modern rexine portfolio. Comprising a.o.: (1) A typescript letter signed in pen by Th. Molkenboer and a flyer concerning his "Kruisweg voor de Kathedraal van Batavia" (on tiles), stating that the original paintings for the series are for sale (1911). (2) Gymnastiek en Schermvereeniging "Sparta". Bewijs van Aandeel groot Één gulden, letterpress share filled-out in pen, 1900 (2 copies present). (3) Letters by or to the artist Sytze D. Henstra (1894-1991). (4) Letters by Antiquariaat Schumacher 1973-1974. (5) Letters concerning Genootschap "Het Leesmuseum" (ca. 1920). (6). Items concerning a donation by M.W. Holtrop, President of Nederlandsche Bank N.V. to Beit Gordon in Israel (1955). (7) Typescript/ handwritten letters by Max J. Friendländer on a drawing supposedly by Jan van Eyck ("sicherlich aus dem Beginne des 15. Jahrhunderts") (1943 and 1947), one addressed to "Verehrter Herr Holstein". (8) A press photograph portrait of Piet Bakker. (9) Chinese tourist flyers. (10) A postcard announcing activities organised by artist's club De Kring in Café Former, Amst. (11) A letter signed in pen by Dutch Minister of Foreign Affairs Joseph Luns (1965). (12) Letters addressed to Ted O'Sickens, author for Avro Radiobode and other magazines (1936-1939). (13) Letters to Simon Emmering by Dorothée Antes. (14) An original drawing in pen by Peter van Straaten (Vader & Zoon). (14) A number of items concerning Hein van Stekelenburg/ Antiquariaat, incl. an extensive illustrated letter by Fred Schroder, to "Beste Hein".
