Commemorating 300 years of Dutch independance, 1572-1872. Six items

(1) Derde eeuwfeest 1872. Den eersten dach van April verloos Duc d'Alva sijnen bril. Thin silver shield, 5.5 x 3.1 cm, w. attached orig. silk ribbon. Attached to the orig. card or front part of an envelope showing the shield in chromolithography, 13.5 x 7.3 cm., w. "zeldzaam" in pen in lower margin. (2) 1 April 1572-1872. Copper pin w. chromolithogr. Dutch flag and the mentioned dates under glass, 3.4 x 4.3 cm (oval), w. the orig. silk ribbon attached. Very rare. -and 4 others: incl. 2 copies of the so-called "geuzenpenning" and a rare thin silver shield w. the text "Tot het dragen van den bedelzak, leve de geus".
