Catalogue featuring works by Duchamp from the Mary Sisler Collection exhibited at Cordier & Ekstrom in New York, January-February 1965. Text by Richard Hamilton. When Mary Sisler saw this version of the catalogue, she was incensed that her name appeared less prominently than Duchamp's and demanded its withdrawal and reissue. Surviving copies of the first version are thus extremely rare. With inlaid small erratum card. Light rubbing to the extended portions of the cover featuring Duchamp's doorway image. Generally a very good copy.
