Catalogue for a large travelling exhibition organized by the Finnish Academy of Arts featuring 17 international and 43 Finnish Surrealists such as Hans Bellmer, Max Ernst, Carl-Henning Pedersen, Germaine Richier, Yves Tanguy, Eino Ahonen, Arvid Broms, Birger Carlstedt, Simo Hannula, Alpo Jaakola, Ole Kandelin, Otto Makila, Antti Vuori et al. First volume with b/w images, essays, and extensive list of exhibited works in Finnish. Second volume features translation of text in Swedish. Both volumes open with the phrase in Finnish/ Swedish which translates to 'You who don't see anything, think of those who do'. Sunning to covers and edges of the fragile paper, light wear around staples. No other copies found. Extremely rare complete set, in fine condition. (total 2)
