In all, an acceptable copy of this scarce enlarged edition, w. fine mid-19th cent. bookseller's label of Benjamin Dawson, Notre-Dame Street in Montreal, and w. bookplate of the Bibliothèque de Barante (see for instance Prosper de Barante (1782-1866)), on upper pastedown.

With an addendum, containing a description of all the recent improvements, a new map of the city, several new engravings, and a variety of useful information not given in the former edition of the work.
