Jesus Rafael Soto. Two remarkably designed catalogues

(1) Soto. Amsterdam, Stedelijk Museum, 1969. Softcover, 27.5 x 21 cm, unpag. Complete with thin string wrapped around the front cover, attached with a sticker. A kinetic effect is created by softly rolling the string across the vertical lines of the cover. SMA Cat. No. 452 published in conjunction with Soto exhibitions at the Stedelijk Museum and Palais des Beaux Arts in Brussels. Design by Wim Crouwel and Jolijn van de Wouw (Total Design). Text by Jean Clay in Dutch and French. Moderate toning, fine copy.
