Rather sloppy, stained copy, w. owner's entry of Michiel Buisman (1891-1986) and date of purchase 7/4 '34 in pen on first free endpaper. As expected from a book from his library, a very rare title, apparently not represented Dutch libraries. With: (2) Musset, P. de. Jan de Vinder of het Verbond met de hel. Nieuwe uitgave. Amst., H. van Cittert, 1850, 2 parts in 1 vol. (2),230; (2),220 p. Contemp. hcl., gilt spine w. mor. letterpiece. Vague library stains on titles, printed on various kinds of rather poor-quality paper, w. ensuing defects/ imperfections. With owner's entry of Buisman and date of purchase 5/2 '38 in pen on first free endpaper. Very rare, apparently only one copy recorded in Dutch libraries (Amst.). (3) Ninon de Lenclos ("Mejufvrouw"). Onderrigting in de kunst, om aan de vrouwen te behagen en in het beminnen gelukkig te zijn. In eenige brieven door Mejufvrouw Ninon de Lenclos. Nevens haar wellustig leven. Uit het Fransch. Amst. etc., V.d. Burgh etc., n.d. (ca. 1793), 352 p., simple later boards. Lacks (for obvious reasons) the title-p., but replaced by a manuscript title (probably by Buisman); partly waterst., some other internal and external defects. W. owner's entry of Buisman and date of purchase 25/3 '32. Again, a very rare title, apparently only one copy recorded in Dutch libraries (KB). -and 2 others.
