Dedication on first free endpaper "Bij wijze van voorschot voor Miens en Bernard van Jetje [=Henriette van Eyck], Vic [=Victor E. van Vriesland] en Bert [Bert van Eyck or Bert Bakker] op 3/4-4-'54 ter herinnering van de onvergetelijke Pom. Contains title p. (copyright still blank), the first five poems of De Wandelaar, Verantwoording (by Gerrit Kamphuis) and a photocopy of the manuscript of 'De vijand', followed by approx. 200 blank pages. Inserted proof print of poem 'Martinus', typoscript w. typographical annotations by Gerrit Kamphuis. Cloth w. dust jacket. (front cover identical to the publ. one, otherwise blank). Added: 'In memoriam album M. Nijhoff' by Bert Bakker, 58 lvs. w. pasted-in articles published about Nijhoff's death, each noting date and source, and at the end a typescript article about Nijhoff.
