Otherwise a fine, untrimmed and desirable copy: With SIGNED ORIGINAL DRAWING AND POEM by Georges Hugnet in watercolour and pen, on first free endpaper, and w. signed dedication in pen by Hugnet on htitle: "À madame Andrée Carol-Bérard en respectueux hommage, George Hugnet, 16 Février 1952". Cramer 36. The poem in pen and ink is present in print on page 67. A later version (issued in only 26 copies) illustrated by Joan Miró was published in 1940.
