Groupe Utopie. Six publications, 1968-1970
Published by Utopie, a collective of architects, sociologists and urbanists, active in Paris from 1967 to 1978. Among its founding members were Hubert Tonka, Jean Baudrillard, Jean Aubert, Antoine Stinco, Isabelle Auricoste, Jean-Paul Jungmann and Catherine Cot. The group challenged postwar modernization and urban planning by presenting radical (theoretical) alternatives, initially influenced by the ideas of the Situationist International. This set comprises six softcover booklets, each 22.5 x 14 cm, printed in b/w. Text in French.
