Posters by Edizioni PUZZ Milan, ca. 1975
Rare mimeographed posters by Puzz, the first counter culture comics magazine in Italy, created by Max Capa and a small group of left wing collaborators, featuring 'subversive' texts (in Italian), with Situationist comic strips (fumetti). 21 issues were published irregularly between 1971 and 1976, with various supplements/posters outside the numbering.
(1) Attento, compagno, ti stanno fregando! (Watch out, comrade, they're ripping you off!). Newssheet printed in purple, 92.5 x 36 cm, folded twice, moderate creasing on edges, one tear along fold lower left (approx. 7 cm). Presumably published as a supplement to PUZZ No.19 (1975), a special issue protesting the arrest of 17 comrades accused of setting fire to the offices of the PSDI (Partito Social Democratico Italiano). (2) Lo Stato E' La Fabbrica che produce sfruttati (the State is the factory that produces the exploited). Undated, ca. 1975, 96 x 49.5 cm, printed purple on newssheet, folded three times. Mild creasing to edges. (3) A Proposito di Fascismo (About Fascism). Undated supplement to Rosso 39.5 x 127 cm, folded twice. Moderate creasing and one tear on lower margin (4 cm). Rosso journal (1973-1979) was run by autonomous collectives of workers and students. (total 3)
