Comprising a.o.: (1) Manuscript account by Weissman, on the complicated construction history of the Amsterdam Municipal Museum des. by Weissman, which led to his resignation as town architect in 1894. 24 p., folio. W. 2 printed copies of the Amsterdam Gemeenteblad, dated 2 June 1894 (tipped onto p. 24 of the manuscr.) and 19 Dec. 1894. The manuscript ends w. the words: "De behandeling van dit preadvies vond plaats in de Raadszitting van 6 Juni 1894. Het eervol ontslag werd mij verleend met 23 tegen 2 stemmen." (2) "Italië. Door A.W. Weismann". Manuscript travel account, 484 octavo-sized lvs w. text on recto only, starting April 1897, the final chapter on Padua starting October 1901. Fascinating, extensive and unpublished travel account. -and 5 other manuscripts, incl. "Het geslacht De Keyzer volgens bescheiden in het archief van Amsterdam en aanteekeningen uit de Notarieele archieven van Mr. N. de Roever door A.W. Weissman, Maart 1904" (20 folio-sized pages and unpaginated draft w. many mounted annots.), transcriptions of rhymed biographies on the Counts of Holland, and transcriptions of excerpts from archives regarding building materials etc. supplied for an unnamed cathedral (1450-1499, probably the Utrecht Dom, 7 p.).
