Suck was founded in Amsterdam in 1969 by William Levy, Germaine Greer, Heathcote Williams, and directed by William Cooney Lapides (William Levy) and Wilhelm Rielder (Willem de Ridder). The underground newspaper celebrated sexual freedom, featuring short texts, explicit photographs, and graphic illustrations. Contributors include Germaine Greer, Maurice Girodias, Robert Crumb, W. S. Burroughs, Ed van der Elsken, Anna Beeke, Gunther Brus et al. All copies folded once as usual, with small tears and regular traces of age and wear.
