Martial Raysse. Collection of ephemera

(1) Rare invitation card printed purple on silver mirror stock, 23 x 17 cm, announcing the opening of the exhibition 'Martial Raysse 5 tableaux 1 sculpture' at Galerie Alexandre Iolas in Paris on 27 April 1967 (undated). Excellent copy. (2-8) Seven letters, notes and cards sent by the prominent Nouveau Realist artist Martial Raysse (b. 1936) to the Dutch art critic Bert Jansen in 1982, 1992, and 2004-2006.

Most pictures feature reproductions of works, some with labels and stamps on rear, deriving from the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Jeu de Paume Paris, and Alexandre Iolas New York/Paris/Geneva. Includes four amazing installation photos showing exhibitions at Alexandre Iolas Gallery New York 1962, Dwan Gallery Los Angeles 1964, and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam 1965.
