Christian Boltanski. Dispersion 1991, and Passion 1996

(1) Dispersion, 1991. White plastic bag, 50 x 44.5 cm, with printed text 'Dispersion, Christian Boltanski 91, Quai de la Gare 75013 Paris', folded. Original bag published for the very first presentation of Boltanski's work 'Dispersion' displaying piles of second-hand clothes, from which visitors could pick an item and carry it off in the plastic bag. The participatory project became the starting point for an ongoing and famous exhibition 'Take Me (I’m Yours)' curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Boltanski since 1995. (2) Postcard, printed black on green stock, 10.5 x 15 cm, announcing the original project at the Quai de la Gare. Rare.

(3) Christian Boltanski, Passie/Passion. Four folded posters, 40 x 60 cm, printed b/w on newssheet. Each poster depicts a photographic close-up of an eye. Artists' publication released on the occasion of the Boltanski exhibition at De Pont in Tilburg from December 14 1996 - April 14 1997. Lacking the original bellyband. In fine condition. (total 3)
