(1) A peasant defending a young woman. (2) Master Joris with his Anna. Two mezzotints (depicting Touch), each approx 25.3 x 18.4 cm and "C.D. Inv. I Gole fec. et Exc. cum Privil. Amstelodami" in the plate below the images, and both mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Hollstein 183; Wurzbach I, 444, no. 72. Very fine PROOF impressions before letters, with very wide margins, on paper w. large fleur-de-lys watermark. Both with very vague horizontal fold (not visible recto).
