Ostade, A. van (1610-1685). Two etchings: (1) Peasant in a pointed fur cap

Etching, 7 x 5.8 cm, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Good impression, trimmed to the plate mark (sm. margin at bottom). Sl. foxed. Hollstein 3, 7th and final state. (2) The peasant's quarrel . Etching, 11 x 14.2 cm, signed and dated 1653 in the plate below the image, fully mounted and fixed under passe-partout. Hollstein 18, 5th state (of 8). With: 3 prints by J. Suyderhoef (1614-1686) after Van Ostade (the smoker, the drinking couple and a fine large and attractive print dep. a peasant interior with tric-trac players).
