a city in the background. Engraving from a series dep. Bohemian land- and riverscapes, 22.5 x 36.5 cm, after Pieter Stevens (ca. 1567-1626), signed "Egid. Sadeler excud." and "Petrus Stephani Inven." in the plate below the image, mounted at upper corners under passe-partout. Very good, 18th cent. impression on rather heavy paper w. wide margins (printed oblique on the sheet). Hollstein 248.
