a I. Veldio delineatae, et a Nicolao Johannis Piscatore in lucem aeditae. Eerste Deel". Etched title and 3 (of 11) plates, each approx. 13.5 x 19.5 cm, 1616. Numb. 1, 4, 6 and 11, the first w. address "CJVisscher excudebat" in the plate, mounted at upper corners under passe-partouts. All very good contemp. impressions on fine paper, 6 and 11 w. unidentified watermarks, all w. ample margins. Occas. unobtrusive marg. stains, number 4 w. very vague central stain. Hollstein 232 and 235, second state (of 4) and 237 and 242, second state (of 3). Four fine prints (incl. the general title) from the first series of 5 series by Van de Velde, each consisting of 12 plates.
