Galle, Ph. (ca. 1537-1612). Four engravings from the series of eight

depicting the Wonders of the world, all ca. 21 x 26 cm, after Maarten van Heemskerck (1498-1574), one signed "PGalle Fecit" and "MHeemskerck Invt", the other 2 signed "Martinus Heemskerck inventor", all w. 4-line Latin text below the image, mounted at upper corners under passepartouts. Good impressions on fine paper, 3 sheets w. watermark deer and w. ample margins, the other (3rd print of the series) w. watermark gothic "P" and narrow margins (old number 4 in pen instead of 3 in lower r. corner).
