(You do not imitate the life of Christ, therefore you are not a Christian). Manuscript w. neatly written passages in French and Latin in pen, on paper w. occas. partial Strasburg lily watermark, probably Belgium, 17th cent., 90 unnumb. pages, all but 11 pages w. finely executed calligraphic borders, partly adorned with ornaments such as helmets and birds, bound in modern hcl., narrow oblong 8vo (9 x 20 cm). A few upper outer corners dam., waterst. at the end. Very intriguing and charming manuscript, unfortunately anonymous.
