Glue bound, hectograph, 15 x 14 cm, 272 pp. Stunning first artist's book by Schmit (1943-2006), containing 149 drawings, with inserts, collages, hand drawn red felt tip additions, and pasted-in fragments. First edition of approx. 410 copies including 15 signed and numbered copies with added original drawings and texts. Some copies issued with a wrap-around red tissue cover; this is the regular issue. Browning of paper; crease to the first leaf and damage to the final leaf; otherwise a fine copy.
