Ulises Carrion. Lilia Prado Superstar Film Festival, 1984

Programme booklet and rare invitation cards for the screenings and private receptions. The festival, curated by Ulises Carrión, celebrated his favourite childhood actress, Lilia Prado (1928-2006) who starred in a number of Mexican movies and Luis Buñuel films in the 1950s. Four movies were screened in several Dutch cities. In collaboration with De Appel, Amsterdam, a full-scale press tour was organised for the (rather unknown) star, including interview sessions, a reception at the Mexican embassy and private cocktail parties.

(4) Personal invitation for a 'Kokette Kool Koktail' for Lilia Prado at the home of Grietha Jurriëns and Hetty Huisman in Amsterdam, July 3, 1984. Rubber stamped card, 10.5 x 15.5 cm.
