Dorothy's Umbrellas, Imagica Palavra. Rare exhibition catalogues

(1) Dorothy's Umbrellas. Woodchester, Openingspress, 1971. Staple-bound, 24.5 x 19.5 cm, 42 pp. Limited edition numbered 23/250. Published in conjunction with a project organized by John and Astrid Furnival at the Nottingham Festival/ Polytechnic School of Art in Nottingham, Bristol Arts Centre, and Laing Gallery in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. It was the follow-up of the Dorothy show, an 'audio visual tactile event', held at Bear Lane Gallery Oxford in 1970. Essay by Dom Silvester Houédard, contributors include Peter Bailey, John Furnival, Anna Lockwood, Tom Phillips, Nicholas Pope, Celia Reed and many others. Good copy with beautifully silkscreened plates.

(2) Imagica Palavra. Sao Paulo, Museu de Arte Contemporanea da Universidade de Sao Paulo, 1987. Softcover, 20.5 x 21.5 cm, unpag. Catalogue for an exhibition curated by Betty Leirner and Walter Silveira, featuring forty seminal Brazilian artists/poets including Cildo Meirelles, Helio Oiticica, Paulo Bruscky, Augusto de Campos, Leon Ferrari, Antonio Dias, Ligia Pape, Regina Vater et al. Very good copy. Added: (3) AND magazine, No. 4. London, Writers Forum, undated (early 1970s). Softcover, 24.5 x 19 cm, 30 pp. Edited by John Rowan and Bob Cobbing.
