Ripped & Torn. Nos. 1-3, 1976-1977
'Punk Magazine written by fans for fans', edited and produced by Tony D (aka Tony Drayton) in Glasgow, issued in 18 numbers until 1979. Often listed as the second most important punk fanzine after Sniffin’ Glue, it covers the UK punk scene through articles and interviews, in a characteristic anarchic cut-and-paste aesthetic.
This lot contains the first three issues: No. 1 (Nov. 1976), No. 2 (Jan. 1977), and No. 3 (Feb. 1977).
Each staple-bound, 29.7 x 21 cm, 10-22 sheets, photocopied in b/w. No. 1 with price in purple marker, Nos. 1 and 2 with sticker of the distributor Rough Trade London on rear. All slightly browned or with occasional staining; overall in very good condition. (total 3)
