Two issues of Punk, the first Punk zine in New York, created in 1975 by underground cartoonist, Ramones illustrator and writer John Holmstrom, alongside Ged Dunn and Legs McNeil. Focused on the early New York CBGB scene.
Includes Vol. 1 No. 2 1976 and Vol. 1 No. 6 October 1976. Folded tabloids, 43.5 x 28 cm, 20/22 pp. No. 2 is a Patti Smith special, with additional interviews, cartoons, and reports on Talking Heads, Marbles, Television et al. No. 6 features 'The Legend of Nick Detroit, a film starring Richard Hell', featuring a photo-novel with a stunning cast, including members of Talking Heads, Blondie, The Mumps and Marbles. Both copies with wear to spine folds, else fine. Rare. (2)
