The Hague, Ministerie van Oorlog, late 19th cent. Two lithogr. overview maps, leaf w. legend, and 36 (of 62) lithogr. maps, numb. 1, 3, 6, 7, 10-12, 14-18, 21-24, 27-37, 39, 41, 43, 45, 51 and 58-61 and a similar map w. equal size titled Esschen and numb. 1 (Bergen op Zoom and surroundings). Loose as issued, large obl. folio (lvs measuring approx. 63 x 92 cm). Most maps in good/ acceptable condition, especially for such large sheets. Overview maps browned, frayed and damaged; map 12 (Assen) browned and with large tear; maps 43, 45 and 51 mounted on linen, with reduced blank margins and with library stamp.

In all, a substantial group of highly detailed military maps, sold as a collection and not subject to return.(total 40)
