Mann, Thomas. Proof copy for Deutsche Hörer

For the preparation of the second edition, published by Bermann-Fischer Verlag, 1945. 152 p. Appears to be an uncorrected copy of the first impression, extensively corrected in (red) pencil. On first free endpaper is written "For Behrmann-Fischer [sic]". Most notes seems to be orthographical, but the preface has been extensively annotated. Interestingly, the title-p. only mentions 53 speeches, while the published edition contains 55.
