Engraving from a series of 6 Roman Heroes, 36.5 x 23.5 cm, 1586, numb. "2" and monogrammed "HG fe." in lower l. corner and w. 4-line poem in Latin by Estius in lower margin, framed under passeparout. Good impression but foxed and w. 2 vertical folds. Hollstein 163, 2nd state. Added: 2 other framed engravings: a copy of the portrait of Frederick de Vries with dog by Raffaello Guidi (ca. 1640-ca. 1615) after Goltzius, 1599 (the edition C. Losi, 1773), and a print showing a deerhunt after Antonio Tempesta (1555-1630) (torn in upper r. corner). The three prints of the lot not examined outside the frames.
