Paris, Jolande Bonhomme, widow of Thielman Kerver, August 1538, (6 calendar),144,55,52,(6),23 lvs, entirely printed in red and black, w. full-p. woodcut dep. the Annunciation, two sm. woodcut ills., woodcut initials, later simple calf, 4to. Lacks title-p. and probably a final leaf w. the printer's mark (a short colophon w. the names of the printer and the date is printed on verso of leaf LII of the third pard), otherwise apparently complete. Occas. manuscr. annots., front cover loose, lower joint splitting, but good holdng on cords, outer corner worn. Very - if not extremely - rare breviary for the order of Fontevraud, apparently only one copy in OCLC (Biblithèqye Nationale de France).
