Var. sizes, incl. a number of proof impressions of the same prints. Comprising, a.o.,: (1) Two herons. Lithograph, 62.5 x 45.5 cm, signed and "4/50" in pencil and monogrammed on the stone. A number of sm. marg. tears, not affecting the image. (2) View of dilapidated houses in Amsterdam. Etching, 19.7 x 26.6 cm, on Japanese paper, signed in pencil and in the plate. Remnants of former passe-partout at blank margins recto. Three more copies of this print (proof impressions) are present in the lot. (3) View of a farmhouse w. haystack. Etching, 14.7 x 24.1 cm, signed and "Proefdruk 1e. st. Nov. '12" in pencil, signed in the plate. Three more copies of this print are present in the lot, one w. annotation "Three" in pencil (yellowed on purpose), one w. annotation "3e st. nog enkel luchttoon" in pencil and one w. annotation "Pr. dr. 1e st. dubbeldruk" in pencil. The smaller lithographs of herons (2 diff. designs in 4/5 copies in the lot are proof impressions with the orig. envelope addressed to the artist in the "1e Jb. van Campenstraat 53 alhier" by the printer L. van Leer & Co in Amsterdam.
