Wajang Golek. Collection of 28 items, incl. 9 complete puppets and 5 loose heads of puppets

In var. sizes, the heads, torsos and movable arms made of painted carved wood, 8 puppets with complete clothing (one puppet without dress). A collection of finely made puppets and heads, with regular traces of age and wear. Added to the collection are 5 drumsticks for various instruments, 2 carved wooden masks (one w. annotation in felt-tip on the inside "koleksi Ledjar 4-1-'79", two sets of 2 bookstands w. Indonesian decoration, a set of 4 brass plates attached to each other with a cord (producing a clear ringing sound), a smaller marionette probably from China or Japan and a handheld puppet apparently from India. Kept in 2 board boxes. Collection Otto van der Mieden.
