Heintje Davids (Henrika David 1888-1975)

Honorary medal of Amsterdam of Heintje Davids, awarded in 1954, with as requested by Heintje only her stage-name engraved on to. + letter of thanks from Wim Sonneveld to Heintje Davids* + Letter of thanks from A Viruly, and several others + three photos, some menu cards of parties, a test print of a music-sheet, card awarding pension of Hendrika Pinkhof David, stamped 1 January 1957 - and a letter of the municipality Amsterdam granting a yearly allowance of 1000 Guilders starting 1963 as a token of admiration.

* The letter by Sonneveld is frank. In his answer to a missive from her, he discusses the reception of the film "De Hollandse Toer", which he starred in. "Het leek wel of ze me hebben moeten en het heeft me veel pijn gedaan dat sommige kranten persoonlijk werden en beledigned. Altijd als ik iets doe buiten mijn vak word ik in de pan gehakt"
