This lot concerns several 'handicraft volumes' from the women's magazine Penélopé which appeared between 1821 and 1835. The handicraft section contains patterns and guidelines for making, for example, a phosporus bottle, a 'luiermanskorfje', needle boxes and beggar's blanket. The volumes on offer all contain one or more 'handwerken voor het tabaksgebruik' like a 'sigarendoos in den vorm van een boekje' and 'een zwavelbakje, hetwelk tevens tot souvenir dient'.
