Boy Scouts

Padvindersvereeniging Nederland, afdeeling Groningen. Programme of the jubilee evening which was held on April 18, 1936 on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the club. + Wigwamnieuws, published weekly, group 5 De Havik, ca. 100 issues of this magazine were published between 1937-1940 and in 1945.

*Boy Scouts clubs became forbidden in 1941; all Boy Scouts had to become the Nationale Jeugdstorm, following the German example. This did not turn out to be a great success and the movement almost completely disappeared. In the months following the war, however, it turned out that people's enthusiasm for Boy Scouts had not diminished. Same goes for the Havik, as we read in the July 27, 1945 newspaper issue. In this issue, Oud-Vaandrig H. Leefsma and H. Blaauw, who did not survive the war, are remembered.
