It is uncertain whether any more pages have been preserved. This and lots 1108-1109 have been preserved by an employee for 52 years. The original black-and-white pages were delivered in a smaller size (24 x 17 cm) for Donald Duck, for which they were first completely re-inked and coloured. This way, the typical brightly coloured Tom Poes stories came into existence, stories that remained one of the cornerstones of het Vrolijk Weekblad for many years.
