Börge Ring (1921-) Original work

*Börge Ring worked for the Toonderstudio's for 21 years, after which he continued working independently. He was twice nominated for an Oscar and won it the second time. The two Danes (the other one being Jensen) working for Toonder produced lots of cartoons for the Toonderstudio's. Nearly all of Börge Ring's original work was destroyed in a fire in 2012. We were therefore delighted to find out that a former employee had saved these works (see also lot 1022).
