Piet Wijn (1939-2010)

Original unpublished strip from the unfinished story "The Sword in the Stone". p. 18 in which the hero and the boy walk together and the evil wizard devises a plan to kidnap the boy. No text, in Indian ink with blue spot colour. Ca. 1954. Strip 22. 12,5 x 40 cm. In frame behind glass.

*Right after he stopped working for Toonder Studio's, Piet Wijn drew several strips for publication. This is one of those strips, but the work was never published. (See Olivier Sterk, 2001). Yet, these drawings will probably be published this year in limited edition.
