Piet Wijn (1939-2010) Annemoon

Original announcement of the comic Annemoon, in watercolour. 13 x 33 cm. Between 1979-82 Piet Wijn drew a series of stories for the children's magazine OKKI, a magazine which appeared 40 times per calendar year and was used by schools. The announcement of the series was in issue nr. 1, 22 September 1979.

*For this announcement, Piet Wijn made a beautiful drawing in which he drew a curious troll within the letter A of Annemoon. The drawing, however, was rejected: at school, pupils were taught to draw the letter A in a different way, and Piet Wijn was asked to make another drawing. He took the easy way out and pasted a sheet of drawing paper with the right A on the wrong one. He didn't feel like drawing the troll in the new A again. Since it was easy to separate the original from the new A, both are auctioned. This is the first time ever an Annemoon drawing is for sale.
