Aat Veldhoen - Rotaprints
5 early rotaprints by Aat Veldhoen (1962-1974), signed and partly numbered. Inscription with one print: "naar een onbekende Japanse meester".
Recently, part of the rotaprints by Aat Veldhoen have been on display at the Rijksmuseum (2014-2015) for their fiftieth anniversary.
Rotaprint allowed Veldhoen to print his work easily and quickly, and so he sold the prints for three guilders each straight from his freight bicycle, assisted by Robert Jasper Grootveld, from the idea that everyone should be able to possess art. Warholl avant la lettre.
