ca. 1840, both boards with gilt paper decorative borders and gilt edges, in marbled cardboard chemise with rich gilt back with morocco title shield, in marbled leather ("treecalf") bookshaped slipcase, 18.3 x 12 cm. (small defects).
With dedication on first blank by J.M.W. Waanders "Buchhandlung in Zwolle". Lovely item from the earliest days of Waanders bookshop and publishing house. In 1836, J.M.W.
