[Collection Resolutien der Groote Loge]
Comprehensive and UNIQUE collection of documents concerning the internal organisation of freemasonry in the Netherlands and in the Batavian Republic. A total of ca. 3750 text pages and ca. 460 documents, compiled in 8 folio bindings (new and uniform bindings, half leather with marbled boards and title on spine in gilt stamping). A sizable part of the documents was signed by the Grand Secretary or other high-ranking officers. Resolutions, reports, announcements, decrees concerning elections, the establishment of Lodges, alterations to rituals, administrative affairs, finances, legal affairs, the nature and current state of freemasonry.
The collection concerns original documents by the central administration of the freemasons, of which Prince Frederick of the Netherlands was National Grand Master for more than 50 years.
