Nouvelle édition", 56,(1) p. letterpress text, 40 numbered (1-39 and 19 bis), engraved maps and plates (incl. the folding map of Greece and colonies and the double-page map of the Greek archipelago, maps with coloured outlines, modern full leather with gilt back by Kunstatelier Sint Catharinadal (1972), large folio.

Spines of text volumes slightly faded and the outer corners slightly bumped. A fine set with wide margins of the beloved 4to edition, each volume with the stamped mark of P. Labouchère. The title and a few of the following text leaves of the atlas have been affected and stained by damp, title restores with paper on the back with small loss to paper; spine and parts of the boards of the atlas faded. Judged by the large map, this atlas was used for both the fourth and the fifth edition of the text volumes, counting as the first plate with the fourth edition [as with this copy] and in the fifth edition as second plate.
