Volume 2 waterstained and first quire slightly frayed; both volumes rebacked and with renewed endpapers, boards stained. Part of the plates bound in the wrong place; both volumes with old owner's name of Pieter Boers/ Carolina Jacoba Boers on inside front board (this possibly concerns the bailiff and sheriff of both Katwijks and 't Sand (b. 1708) and his daughter (b. 1749)). The first Dutch edition of this practical encyclopedia on gardening, hunting, cooking, health, etc., with fine engravings.
