Binding slightly rubbed along edges, spine foot lacks part of leather, inside with a few minimal defects, else good as are the folding tables. First edition. This work contains an analysis of the Confucian system and repeals misconceptions about China. The work is dedicated to the Russian Grand Duke, which means there are frequent comparisons between Russia and China. The tables, too, refer mostly to this subject.
